  • Should I bring my laptop or PC to Errorkart service centre ?

    No, there is no need to bring your device to our service centre, in fact you can request for a pickup of your laptop to get it resolved. We offer laptop resolution and desktop resolution service at your doorstep, our service coordinators/engineers will book your computer into the CRM system and get started as soon as possible. if you still wish to visit us then please feel free to do so any time during business hours, check your nearest Errorkart store and operating hours here.

  • Should I book a Errorkart Service Appointment in advance ?

    There is no need to book a time slot in advance, however we recommended to consider the time we might need to learn the issues on your device which you want us to troubleshoot. We fix most problems in your home, but if the resolution is likely to take more than one hour, or spare parts are required, we need to take your computer away for service.   • Why is my device collected to the service centre ?
    Errorkart does offer on-site services, these are generally used for more routine repairs and check-ups and are charged a flat fee mostly. Most services are performed at our customer locations right in front of them, however, more major, or complicated services such as motherboard/chip-level inspections, virus and malware removals, OS repairs and hardware upgrades require more time and more controlled procedures in controlled environments, including, above all, backup and protection of your computers data. Most off-site repairs are performed at a finer level and deeper attention to detail is provided to the devices which allows us to perform a much more complete and thorough service.

  • Does it matter how old is my device is ?
    At Errorkart, we resolve most computers & devices of any age pretty mush at the same price, but sometimes things get a bit challenging when we cannot obtain replacement parts or supported software, if not we have been able to resolve almost all make and models of all ages. Our average resolutions rate so far has been 98.47%.

  • How long does a resolution take ?
    We totally understand how important your device to you is, we at Errorkart are committed to solve your Laptop or Desktop issues as soon as possible with the least turnaround time, depending upon the nature of the resolution, they can take anywhere from 1 up to 7 working days, if parts need to be ordered for a resolution it can take approximately 3-5 working days for the parts to arrive and be fitted. Generally, most resolutions take 2-3 days to complete. There are situations where the resolutions may take longer such as when parts have to be ordered. Errorkart strives to only use high quality, often original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts and not use cheap, knock-off, low quality parts that will only fail in a short amount of time. These parts are not always readily available, especially for older computers so it may take some time to source the proper replacement parts.

  • Why do you charge a minimum charge ?
    We have a minimum service charge since our engineers can sometimes take up to 2 hours to diagnose a resolution at sometimes to even collect the device and bring it to a service centre for a thorough inspection, after which the customer may decide not to proceed, it is to cover this cost. Note: This cost includes Visit/Pick-up, Diagnose, Deliver.

  • Is the data on my device safe with you ?
    At Errorkart, we never remove or otherwise touch your data apart for backup purposes (which we’ll always go over with you first.) We take data security very seriously and are trusted by large companies with their most sensitive data. For all service that do not need your hard disk it is usually removed and kept safely until the work is completed.

  • Will I know what it will cost to resolve my computer before you start work on it ?
    Yes, you will know all costs, including TAX. We have our process clearly cut-out to prepare the job card to estimate the cost to seek work approvals before we do anything, so that there are no surprises and no hidden charges.
    There are rare times when the final invoice may be slightly higher due to unforeseen issues that surface during resolution, but Errorkart will always contact you to authorize the additional charges prior to performing the additional work. However, most resolutions meet our initial work estimate as we invest a considerable time evaluating the issue and preparing the job card.

  • My laptop is very old. Is it worth having it resolved ?
    Part of the initial consultation is to determine the best options for you and your computer needs. Sometimes, upgrading to a new computer system is the best option for you, and Errorkart will be there to help make that upgrade process the best experience for you.
    If your computer or device is very old, then it may not be worth fixing. However, we can clone the old files and transfer them to your new computer if the hard disk is in good health. Talk to our Service Coordinators
  • What happens if you are unable to resolve my computer ?
    If for some reason we are unable to resolve your product, we just charge you a flat rate for the inspection, pick and drop. For all walk-in’s and visit to our service centre it is free.

  • Do you have warranty on your work ?

    Yes, all our work comes with a 30 days’ work warranty and if there are any parts replaced then warranty is as applicable, for example a HDD (Hard Disk Drive) or RAM usually comes with 2 and 1 year warranty, however the best part of getting your laptop repaired at Errorkart is much more than the usual warranty, in case if you ever have to claim a warranty then we do that for you instead of you having to run around for the claim, we provide doorstep warranty claim.
